This series is a collaboration between Title V and various student-serving departments at AU.
Did you know that AU has a department specifically tasked with providing resources for your success in and beyond your academic career?
The Tutoring, Career, and Advisement Services Department, headed by Dr. Claudia Dolinksy, is an excellent resource for many of your needs. From tutoring services to online tutorials about the proper use of APA style guidelines to helping you land your first job out of college, the department provides a wealth of information for AU students.
Q: Where can I find academic resources on campus?
A: Starting next month, Dr. Dolinsky and the department will offer presentations on a variety of student success topics twice per month. The first in this presentation series will occur on April 4, and it will focus on grammar. The second will occur on April 11, and it will address test-taking strategies. Both presentations will take place at 2:30 PM in LAB 406, which is conveniently located in the same hallway as the student lounge and Rose’s Café.
Keep your eye out for flyers around campus and on Dr. Dolinsky’s door (Room 195) for news of future presentations! You’re also welcome to drop by the Tutoring, Career, and Advisement Services Department or call us at 305-593-1223, ext. 3102 and 3208.
