Our Welcome Back Drive-By this past Saturday, September 18 was great fun! Thanks to those who came by to say “hi”, pick up a swag bag, and connect with staff. It was exciting to greet you and hear about your experiences during these first weeks of the Fall 2021 semester. I see many of you as “squares” on the many events we hold virtually, but it was so much nicer to see you in person. I was able to spend time with student council members that I’d never met in person but had worked with for some time now. They brought great energy to the event, and I am thankful for them. Viable means to socialize are limited under Covid-19 safety rules; thus, I am grateful to those who came out. Isolation is tough. Therefore any opportunity to connect is significant for our collective well-being. Please take advantage of upcoming events, virtual workshops, and our on-campus services.
