During our Albizu Earth Day Celebration, the Student Wellness Program, sponsored by the Department of Student Affairs, provided students with the unique experience of creating terrariums. This event occurred during finals week; students stopped by the lobby on their way to or from finals to create a mini terrarium. It took about ten minutes! There was an immediate shift in moods, there were smiles on faces, and it was pure joy! Creating and being creative is a mental health practice and can be part of your overall wellness and self-care practice. Thank you to Ms. Illiet Ojeda from Chasing Balance Wellness for curating this event for our students to enjoy.
